Back home from bustrip. We arrived in Perth at about 2pm yesterday, cleaned the bus COMPLETELY so now it's totally clean! clean clean clean. Rowena came and picked me up, I had enough time to check important emails and dump my stuff before heading to the beach. Beach was SO GOOD! I was pretty tired from lack of sleep on the bus, but I hadn't had a shower in 2 nights (sounds better than three days) so it was so very refreshing to be pummelled by the waves; to be washed clean by the salt water and choppy water. I don't think a bath or shower would have done quite the same thorough job. To alleviate all you worrying about how Kat gets clean, I did have a shower afterwards with soap and shampoo. I made a pasta bake for dinner because it's easy and does not require effort. It also means I do not have to worry about lunch for the next few days. Yum! Then I went to bed at 10 and slept SO WELL! Today I need to unpack, do laundry, clean house, find cat.

Apparently Atticus has not been seen by Heather for a few days. I am not yet worried, but last time Atticus went missing, I wasn't worried until too late. So my track record with not getting worried isn't so good - boo to me. I will pray and continue to call for him.

Mission on bustrip went pretty well. I met [info]tibbycat and [info]spally and they are both very cool people! People that I would enjoy meeting again IRL. Yay! I had heaps of fun.

I probably ought to get ready for church and put on a load of washing before I go. *dies from apathy*

My cat is such an attention whore. I'm sitting at my desk, typing away at some forum board offering my 2c, and Atticus is right next to the keyboard, lying down, purring away. He's so cute.

In other news, omg! I'm at my computer! The dead one! Actually, is not my computer, is Gene's computer that he has given me! Isn't he lovely!? thank you Gene!!!

I've been making dinner these past few nights. mmmm, dinner. Is yummy, and on the topic of food, I want breakfast! My stomach is growling, or that could be Atty who has moved to my lap and is digging his claws into my leg! I really have nothing of interest to say in this entry, except to thank Gene of course.

I have other thoughts, but they're so transient that I don't really want to record them, because they'll leave soon anyway.

Alright, I have been dead to the internet for the past week and a half, and I shall continue to be dead for a little while longer. I am enjoying my garden very much. With the help of many friends, I have cleared loads of space for a vegetable garden, as well as many flower beds that I think have been forgotten for quite some time. I've planted orange and lime trees next to the existing lemon tree, as well as a passionfruit vine near the kitchen window. My bedroom is all set up, and I'm working on the spare room that we're using as a study. We have a spare couch and bed in there, as well as our desks. Kitchen still needs a bit of work to do, and I must admit, I'm not sure if I should be unpacking Heather's things, or if she'd prefer to do it. I already did the fridge... But stepping around them is getting a little troublesome.

Attiucs WAS coping very well with moving until Cuda, Heather's dog moved in. He's been so anxious and stressed about it. Cuda slept over someone else's houe last night and Atty was all purring and cuddly with me when I went to bed. He kept waking me up during te night because of it! But it was super cute :D

I planted a bunch of seeds in pots, and some of them have started to poke out from the soil. It's all VERY exciting!

I am rather in love with this house. I hope I don't move from it.

Furthermore, regarding my uni predicamint, everything has turned out very well and my appeal was upheld! I am so very blessed right now!! :D

I went to kendo this eveing after 3 weeks of not going. You'd think that i'd stop getting blisters after a while. NO!! You keep getting them! damn it! :D Oh well, I enjoy kendo anyway. Sensei got me good right across my arm that's going to show up tomorrow.

Family is on a camping holiday down south, so I've the big ol' house to myself with the 2 cats. They're vying for attention and it's really quite cute... albeit somewhat annying. But still nice. Specially Atticus, as he's mine. Yay for Atty.

I went swimming at the local pool today in a bid for fitness and looking-good during summer. Felt good to get up early and wake up. Then I had a proper breakfast of 3 weetbix' and sliced banana on top. Yay for being healthy!

Randomly caught up with [info]fergmonkey today. Was good. Chatted about stuff, and was good chatting. I wish I were more interesting and talked more about stuff other than my current rant. I sound like a broken record! bleh :P But yay for Ferg.

Actually went to jap class today, and I need to do uber study to catch up. questions were so incredibly hard to understand and answer. *le sigh*

Big News:

I've decided to move back home for a while.
Is weird. Money has been tight for too long! I'm sick of being incredibly broke. Mum and Dad said they'd clear out both spare rooms for my use, and try to respect indepedance etc. I guess, not much will change, except using more petrol. kendo/church commitments will stay the same. Less big expenses (i.e rent). Hopefully less stress. I'll still come to stuff organised when invited. They're understanding, which is good. They get that I've lived on my own, and blah. This is for the best. At least for now. I need a break from stress that isn't uni related.

Other news:
~Atticus has done something to his front left paw. I took him to the vet yesterday and got him some antibiotics. Poor Atty, he's all in pain and stuff.:(

~I started a new role-play yesterday. I'm a kick-arse, bloodthirsty, vengeful, very attractive criminal, on an island with a bunch of other criminals, trying to kill each other, in order to survive for 7days, so's at the end, the team surviving gets freedom. It's a fun role-play. I think part of the fun, is that it's simple! Aim of the game: kill everyone. How hard is that? lol, so far it's been rather hard.

~had dinner with Japanese couple last night. Was good

Atty is at home. YAY!!!
He seems to have settled right back into life-at-Kat's-house. Yay. He was purring a LOT when I got him home. He sleeps more, and plays less. I think he's growing a little out of the kitten stage. He does play a little still, but not much. He was happy to sleep in this morning. He used to wake me up early. He still sleeps on my pillow right next to my head. But that's okay (benefits of double bed).

Now I've finished my class, I'm going to go home to clean my unit. Now I've got Atty with me, I have motivation to clean my unit and spend more time there.

Yay for Atticus!

Yay for kendo tonight. I  kendo!

Dad called me just before I went to kendo to tell me that they've found Atticus. 4hrs later, it hasn't really sunk in yet. I mean, last week I was thinking about seriously putting him behind me and maybe having some sort of gathering by the foreshore in rememberance of him. Maybe I would have set something on fire. But now, he's alive and coming home on Thursday when I pick him up from my parents. I'm happy, I honestly am, but... it still hasn't sunk in, so I'm not the feeling the happiness that's there. I guess I'm more shocked than anything else. I'd gotten used to not thinking about him because it hurt too much. But now, he's alive. I can't wait to have him back home with me. I'd been getting lonely without him.

Kendo was very good tonight. I managed to get all the way through the 2hr training session which is great. My men (head) cuts are getting stronger, which is good. But my left foot hurts like buggery whenever I walk on it. I need to build a good calluse just behind my toes so I don't get blisters. All in all, training went really well.

I made my self continue during kendo, in celebration of Atticus coming home. I know, strange way to celebrate, maybe I'll do something else as well.

I can't believe Atticus is coming home. He really became my family. My human family is my family of course, but Atticus is like some sort of actual family member that you live with. He has his own personality and needs that I take of for him, he loves me and trusts me, and I love him. He's like, some sort of son. In a very weird way. Lise would understand me, she's very attached to her cat.

He was dropped off at a vet clinic a week ago and they've been tryng to get in touch with me. I haven't gotten any missed calls from random numbers, so something's wrong with the communication. But when I filled out the forms for his microchip, I had my parents number down as the secondary thingy, so they managed to call my parents, and they picked him up on Friday, just before I went off to Summit.
