Goth night clubs

Last night I went to a goth night club. heh heh, was fun. Interesting, very different. But it seems that people are the same. As in, we all subscribe to different social circles, group, stereotypes etc. But when you get right down to it, we talk about the same things, we use the same expressions, we all have friends that extend to stereotypes we wouldn't think of merging with. The only difference is how we choose to express ourselves. Some people have a long sweeping black fringe to hide the pain they only sometimes have. Some tend to worry a little more about fashion and labels - although we all care about how we look, labels or not.

Going to this night club, and seeing how people interact... it was very much like a normal night club, only a music and clothing change. So, different on a superficial level. But much the same in other regards.

I also had an absolutely dreadful cocktail. I only drank it because I paid $13 for it! But then I had a squashed frog and plenty of water, so I was happy. *grins* My heels were also a lot less heely than other shoes of mine, so I was able to stay longer on my feet. But by the end of the night, I was feel a little claustrophobic. I don't usually get it. My dress was quite tight, so I couldn't breathe deeply, and the room was rather smokey from the smoke machine, and there were a lot of people in the club. So at about 1:15, made an exit and drove home. I'm going next fortnight with some other people. Yay! It was fun. And I like getting all dressed up for it.

While I was getting ready, senragine, my lil sis, asked to watch me putting on my make up. Lol, amusing. But we've been having sisterly moments recently, and that's been good. I'm kinda at a loss as to what to talk to her about, so I'm a little awkward around her. But she's a good sister, and I gave her a bunch of my clothes that I never wear the other day. She was pretty happy about that. Score for me! As we get older, we're getting on better. So I'm expecting us to become better friends as she gets older. Looking forward to it.
